Live Karaoke: Sublime – “What I Got”

A few of us went out to Fellini’s on the Charlottesville Downtown mall and did Live Karaoke with a band. I decided it would be a good idea to try “What I Got” by Sublime. Sure am glad I had friends there to back me up (and to cover up my singing). Sorry in advance for the language.
B-Dubs Pick Out Adventure with Video and Pictures

Last night Jenny and I went out to Gap View Ranch and Kennel to pick out our 4 week old puppy, Bruce Wayne. We’ve been able to pick out his parents at our first visit, see him just after being born on our second visit, and now it was time to pick our pup.
We had our choice of the 5 males in the litter and I’ve never made a more tough choice. It took us 90 minutes to decide. We had to end up each taking one puppy, loving on it for a few minutes, then swapping for each other’s puppy. Once we decided between those two, we’d put one back. During the course of this, one of the little guys decided that taking a nap on my shoe was a good idea.
We got down to the final two and could not possibly make a decision. Jenny walked to the other side of the pen and called to the pups. The first one who ran to Jenny with his tail wagging was our pick for B-Dubs. We spent some time loving on him and getting pictures, real bonding time, then left him with the litter. We’ll be back to pick him up on Father’s Day, June 21st at 11am. We’re both incredibly excited.
A big thank you goes out to Dave and Anne at Gap View for making this process so incredibly easy. They truly do run an amazing kennel and I know they work their fingers to the bone.

B-Dubs One Week Old Video
May 16th
We went out today to see B-Dubs who was born on 5/9 so he is exactly a week old. You can see his parents in this video as well. We found out today that on June 6th we will have first pick of who B-Dubs gets to be from the 8 male pups that Nicole had. (She also had 5 other female pups – 13 puppies in all and every single one is healthy). We get to bring B-Dubs home with us on June 20th! 5 weeks and counting.
Golfing Video 4/18/09

Jenny’s first time ever golfing. I was really impressed with how well she did for NEVER swinging a golf club before. Felt good to get back on the driving range. (Click the HD button in the lower right to view at best quality)
First IT Audit Guy Video

Derek and I came up with a pretty fun way to draw more business to our site that I built. I put it together with my Canon HV-30 shooting against a green screen and edited it all together in Final Cut Pro 6. I know this may not be the target audience because some of the terminology may be a little too IT Audit focused but…here’s the final product. I’m really curious to see what people think so leave a comment and let me know.
