Starting to get things back together
Dec 3rd
Who knew that a week off in Orlando could put me so far behind? I’m slowly but surely getting to all the things I should get done. New music is coming. I found a few new cool things I think deserve an update. Also, I put up a new photo set from this past week in Orlando.
New Twitter Feed for the site

Now there is a new Twitter Feed for my site. You’ll see it on the homepage and in the sidebar on most other pages. This will be an up to the minute update that answers a single question, “What are you doing?”.
New Picture Gallery Format and New Blog
Sep 24th

As technology changes, so does my site. With my new acquisition of an iPhone, I’ve been able to make a few changes to the site that will keep it more up to date and make it easier on me to update.
First, You’ll notice here that the blog has changed a bit. I have changed it so it is now linked with Blogger.com so that i don’t have to be at my laptop to change any of the content (which was why I never really added anything). This allows me to do a number of new and nifty things too. Now instead of just posting major life updates or site changes, I will be posting my mobile photos, short tid-bits about things going on in my life as well as cool articles or new gadgets I think are worthy to share with you. If you were using the old RSS feed address to keep up with this, you’re going to have to update it to the one that it is linked to now. I was forced to change it, unfortunately.
Now there is also a way to sort my posts by type (meaning life events, site updates, pictures, etc…) and only see those type of posts. You can also subscribe to just the type of updates you’d like to see by first sorting this blog page by type then subscribing to THAT RSS feed in your browser. (I know it can get complicated, just email me and I can walk you through it if you have trouble).
I hope to be keeping this more updated for you now.

Second, You’ll notice that the Picture page has changed a little too. Now I have a way to easily upload my pictures straight from my me.com account linked with my computer, I designed a better looking picture page. I will be keeping my Mobile Uploads page for simple picture uploads on the road and now if you look below that, you will see I set up a Gallery. There are a few different collections in that gallery that I will update and add too as I keep shooting more pictures. There is a way in that gallery to use yet another RSS feed to subscribe to all my photo updates in that gallery as well. (Don’t forget that I have a RSS Feed for just my mobile picture updates too. You can find that here.) You also have the ability to download any of the photos you want at full quality (thanks to Apple’s great new coding).
(Is your head spinning yet with all the RSS feed talk? I know, I know. I just don’t want you to have to come to my site every time you want to see what’s new. Using an RSS feed allows you to have either your email program, your browser or a separate news aggregator tell you when there’s an update so you don’t have to check back all the time. You can find all the info you will ever need on RSS Feeds here.)
So I hope everyone enjoys the new site updates and leave me some comments below this post (where it says comments) and let me know what you think.
OwensDomain.com is up and running!!

Thanks for visiting my new online home. I hope to be keeping this up to date with all the things happening in my life.
There are two ways you can keep up with this website without having to check back here all the time. One way is to add yourself to the mailing list and I will send out an e-mail whenever there is new content or a major update. A second way is to subscribe to this page using the RSS Feed and I will update this blog as well when I add new content or make an important update. You can use this link a few different ways. Some e-mail programs allow you to subscribe to RSS Feeds and it will make a folder that updates each time I update this page. Some internet browsers will also allow you to subscribe to RSS Feeds and will show you the updates when they happen automatically in the form of a bookmark.
If you are interested in subscribing only to my Mobile Picture Updates, I have a RSS Feed for that too. You can find that here.
