Cool things I found on the internet for May 5th through May 12th:
- First Look at the DJ Hero Turntable Controller – It’s coming!!! – We all know and love Guitar Hero but now there's been a major development on the Guitar Hero based game for DJ's called DJ Hero. I'm excited for this. I've tried other versions of this DJ Style game but they really don't come close to simulating the experience. Hopefully DJ Hero will be all it is hyped to be.
- YouTube – Fred Goes to the Doctor – How does this have 2 million views!? – How in the world is this guy funny?
- SlingPlayer for iPhone: A ray of hope? – Looks like we may be getting the Sling Player app soon. In the iTunes app store, search for slingmedia brings up the company name with no app attached. We've been waiting for over a month for this app. It's time!
- Get Paid to Bargain Hunt at Buxr.com – Unique idea that rewards you for finding bargains online. Also a great way to find some good deals and coupons.
- EA releases Need for Speed Undercover on iPhone – EA is on a roll with their iPhone games. First Tiger Woods (which is awesome btw) and now Need For Speed. The trailer for it looks awesome. I'll let you know how the game play is.

Cool things I found on the internet for April 30th through May 4th:
- Black Heart Inertia – New Incubus Music Video!! – Their new CD is due out this summer and this is the first single from that CD. Hopefully you already got your tickets for the summer tour their going on.
- Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Trailer – I am so pumped for this! Looks amazing.
- Real Life Superheroes on video. – OH YESS!! Watchmen do exist!!!
- Etsy: Your place to buy and sell all things handmade – Thanks to Jenny (twitter.com/jlkalb) for this one. This in an online marketplace for the creators of handmade goods. There is some serious money being moved on here. Last year they moved $88 million worth of merchandise. Some of the things on here are pretty cool too. May be worth looking into for some creative things.
- Tiger Woods PGA Tour released for iPhone, iPod touch – The games on the iPhone are really starting to step up. I've enjoyed playing Let's Golf as a good golfing game but I think I'm going to have to step up to this. Check it out!

Cool things I found on the internet for April 29th through April 30th:
- The Single Easiest Way to Download YouTube Videos – David Pierce (a fellow Charlottesvill-ian) came across this great website that makes it super easy to download any youtube video directly to your computer.
- Spreadtweet – use Twitter at work and don’t get caught! – Want to use Twitter at work but scared your boss or someone else will see it and rat you out? Enter SpreadTweet. It is an online program that disguises your twitter stream to look like a spreadsheet so that you can tweet in confidence. You're welcome.
- YouTube – New! Simplify 2.0 for iPhone and iPod touch – I know I've talked about this program before but they just released version 2.0 and it looks fantastic. For those of you that don't know much about it, simplify media allows you to stream your itunes library to any other computer or to your iphone no matter where you are and how big your library is. Don't be limited by your storage on your iphone or ipod, use Simplify Media to stream all of your music.
- YouTube to MP3 Converter – Video2mp3 – See a cool music video or hear a cool song on youtube that you can't find anywhere else? Use this website to simply enter in the YouTube URL and quickly get the mp3 version of the song. Brilliant.
- Spinning Vinyl Turns iPod Touch Into a Virtual Turntable – Really cool video demo of an app that's going to be submitted to the App Store. I wish it would work on iPhones. Looks like an awesome concept though.

Cool things I found on the internet for April 21st through April 27th:
- UnoCycle – If the segway mated with a motorcycle, you'd get this device, the Uno. It is an electric powered unicycle based on the principles of the Segway and hopes to do well based on the principal that people like to look good riding on something.
- Procaster: One-click live streaming – I can't wait for this to come to Mac. THis is an extremely easy to use streaming program like Livestream or justin.tv, etc. It uses Mogulus.com and does that well. I am really impressed.
- Parachute – "She Is Love" Music Video – A local band from right here in Charlottesville is making it big. Parachute's hit "She Is Love" has been featured on a Nivea commercial since January and been on repeat in my iTunes for the past few weeks. This morning they released their new music video on YouTube and it is already up to 128K hits. Watch out for these guys.
- Danny MacAskill April 2009 – I want to be able to control my bike as well as this guy does. Wow. Amazing video.
- John Wall Hoopmixtape – Check out this high school superstar basketball player. Some are touting him as the next (and better) Lebron.

Cool things I found on the internet for April 21st:
- Wii Injuries are increasing – HAHA. This just goes to show you that you CAN still get hurt playing video games. I know a certain someone who got hit in the arm (aHEM) playing Wii tennis. I just hope I'm not the next victim of Nintendinitis.
- Md. Soccer Team’s Parents Banished – Good for this ref! I'm glad to see someone taking a stand against ridiculous parents at sporting events. Let the kids play!
