Internet Finds for August 19th to September 8th
Sep 8th
Cool things I found on the internet for August 19th through September 8th:
- 500 Internal Server Error – 500 Internal Server Error
- Amazing Synchronized Cycling Girls Video -> I didn’t know this was a thing? – Wow. I can't even ride a wheelie for longer than about ten feet. Let alone do it with someone on my shoulders…
- BMW’s Augmented Reality Glasses Remake Mere Man Into Master Mechanic – I've been telling a few people recently about just what is augmented reality and what are the new iPhone apps coming out that deal with that. Well here's just another option for the technology. How sweet would it be to put on some glasses and be able to see exactly how to repair your car? Or maybe you can put glasses on that have a GPS system in them and you can see directions right in front of your face for walking or driving. Or maybe running glasses synced up to Nike Plus where you can see your instant feedback such as run pace, total time, etc… Or maybe…
- Danyl – X Factor Audition. What a fantastic voice. – Some people get all the talent. He got most of it.
- Little Kid Parallel Parks -> My kids will be able to do this – Check out this little guy in the video. He power slides his power wheel (see what I did there?) into a parking spot between his parents' cars. Nice park job!
These are just a few of the cool things posted out there on the internet between August 19th and September 8th. Did you find anything cool? If so, leave a link to it in the comments.
Why I’m Not Upgrading to Snow Leopard
Sep 4th
I’ve been following all of the Apple buzz lately around their fresh new OS 10.6 Snow Leopard. I’ve been just as excited as everyone else about upgrading my MacBook Pro to the new cat, but is it time?
Apple’s claims for this new OS are:
1) Better, Faster, Easier
2) Next-Generation Technologies
3) More Accessible than ever
4) Exchange Support
Lets take a look at these one at a time. More >
