Welcome to OwensDomain.com, where you can keep up with me, Brad Owens, and get insight into things I enjoy.
My name is Brad Owens. During the day I am a recruiter at Duval Search Associates finding people jobs for a living. In my spare time, I keep myself busy with so many various things that I decided to create a central place where all aspects of my life come together to form one big pile of amazingness on the web. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of emerging trends in technology and Web 2.0 so I use this site to do that as well.
The Beginning
I started my first website back in 2000 under my parents’ domain name which was a place I posted a single picture of myself so I could tell my friends I had a website. That experience combined with my love for technology has led me to create many different, fun sites and go through countless design changes to ultimately end up with what you see before you.
But Why?
I have always had a passion for and have been on the leading edge of all sorts of emerging trends such as technology, music, video, social networking and blogging. I wanted to create my own place on the web where I could share all of my experiences with those trends and combine my online presence into one central location. I throw in a bit of personal touches too with my mobile photo uploads and Twitter feed. Through following along, you will be updated with all the newest emerging trends in today’s technology driven world via my Internet Finds and other blog posts. I offer tips on how to best use the tools I find (example here) and suggest a few things that you may have never thought of. There may still be a bit of the same reason I started my first website, to tell my friends and family I have a domain with my name in it!

Blogging is about interacting with the online community and I created this site to do just that. Without interaction, this will turn into a creation like my first ever website, a domain where I posted a picture of myself to tell my friends I have a website.
