5 Sites to Get Your Beach Body Ready by Summer – Day 3

Day 5 – Gyminee.com
DailyMile.com – This website was one I heard some great things about. I immediately liked the interface. It was super easy to create an account and get started. Upon logging in you are greated with 4 simple tabs; Notes, Workout, Photos, Videos.
On the notes tab you can post up short stories like an extended tweet about your progress. The Workout tab allows you to enter what workout you performed, how long you did that work and how far you went. There was no attention what-so-ever paid to those of us who do weight training. There was also no way to keep track of your nutritional intake. One part that I really did like was the feeling of a community on the site. It is set up as a social network where runners can encourage each other and motivate you to keep up the good work. I was able to find a person in Charlottesville to run with rather quickly. It wasn’t long before I quickly discovered though that this wasn’t going to offer everything I outlined at the beginning of this quest. It is perfect for the casual runner keeping track of their miles and pace but I’m really looking for more out of a site before I can recommend it as the ultimate online fitness site.
Check back in this weekend when I reveal the top two online fitness sites with a bonus surprise that will get your exercise routine jump started when I reveal my favorite.
